i luv that, PayPal is so so so easy to use, interface is almost one of the best. I also really like the fact that you can design your profile in any way, it really helps other users to distinguish accounts. Transfers of funds occur almost instantly, it really helps to save a couple of minutes that in the future turn into saved hours or even years. Despite the fact that everything is fine, PayPal is a little short of the ideal, I hope in the future they will be able to become even better and even more convenient.
PayPal froze assets on my account!
I’m Ukrainian who is currently in the military defending my country. For a period of time I have been receiving donations through PayPal from my friends and allies around the world. I used these funds solely to finance tools for my and my fellow soldiers’ survival and safety. Yesterday PayPal froze assets on my account (of $2377 worth at the time of writing this) for 180 days without giving clear explanation why! PayPal support could not or would not help me resolve or clarify the issue. I have reasons to believe this action has been taken as a result of either a deliberate attack on the part of people who support Russia’s genocidal invasion of my country or/and an attack due to the fact that I represent vulnerable social group (specifically I am LGBTQ+ person from a country where my identity isn’t fully protected from discrimination by existing laws).
By blocking my account PayPal effectively contributes to the destructive actions of Russia against my country, me personally and my fellow soldiers, whom these funds would be allocated to as well (for things like medical kits, protective gear, etc). I’m no longer able to use my personal funds on my account to buy supplies for my and my brothers and sisters’ in arms survival.
I ask everyone who is reading this to spread this information in hopes that PayPal reconsider freezing my account!
Thief’s
Another case of discrimination against Ukrainians. My American friend sent me several payments to my account, a total of almost 3000$, not only that they froze one of these transfers, later they just blocked My account.
It is impossible to contact support, there is no email to write to, it is impossible to find a contact phone number, and now they have blocked my account in such a way that I cannot even access it.
PAYPAL IS A SCAM!
They do not respond to the complaints that I sent even when this application did not block my login, because of the various options that were written there, it did not apply to the direction of my case, because they simply do not have the necessary reasons in the list of reasons for complaints, I always indicated the reason that I can't contact support in any other way and help me with my situation, all I get is "We looked into your case and found nothing"
Please avoid using this fraudulent service. I am going back to Ukraine soon and will consult with lawyers about this because they just stole my money without any reason this is a real BULLY app.
I received an email where is say is that PayPal don’t propose to me their service anymore - I don’t need your crazy app either I remind you this is 21st-century. There is tone of similar apps exist.
Return me my money!
