I love Wild and her gang!
We pick up right after the Trials and there’s no rest for the weary. Wild and her gang are back in action. Now that we know what she is, it’s time to find out who’s after her. The gang really comes together in this one. Hvam does a great job embracing all the characters. I’m excited that the series continues and I’m looking forward to the next book!
Simply Excellent Entertainment
Ah h-e-l-l this book is good! Lots, and I mean lots, of action, so much so that I did not want it to end! Wilde and gang are back and as is custom with this series it starts where the last book ended. Love how this group behaves together, their loyalty in the 5 main core is refreshing. Several of the love interests need to have their head removed from their rear, especially her oldest friend. As with many Mayer series’ a tragedy does befall one of the support characters. Overall an excellent story that will have you wanting to join in with a punch or kick of your own, to laughing at something a character says, and possibly even shedding a tear or two. The narrator did a fantastic job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
