Chief Harrison, fifteen year old Taylor Kingston abducted, her parents were murdered and no evidence or clues were left at the scene. Karina and Mason Harrison work together to find clues on who kidnapped Taylor but will they find her in time? We get to catch up with the Laurel Springs family and every time I read about Donut I did giggle a little. I can't wait to find out more about Madden and Donut.

I just absolutely adore this series! I love Menace and Katrina! Seeing more of their story just makes me feel like I am getting caught up with long lost friends!
Menace is now the Chief of Police. The second day on the job comes with a case that the town has never seen before. Is Menace up for the task? Will the kidnapping of a high schooler turn into a cold case and haunt Menace forever? There are so little clues. Little evidence!
This story is written in a dual POV format. Getting that glimpse into the main characters' thoughts really help me to connect with them and have a better understanding of their actions.
There is a cliff hanger in a way. Not everything is a fairy tale for the couples. One couple seems to be falling apart. I hope more is given in the next story as to their situation.
This is a sexy read so there is a word of caution on that note.
