In London, two teams are formed and prepare their operations, destined as adversaries. Michael 'Mickey Bricks' Stone is out of jail after two years for an unrelated offense; everybody knows his his famous the intricate 'long con' will be on once more. Meanwhile in the police force, a new man is stepping in as new head of the task force to catch them.

When vicious casino owner and classic film fanatic Frank Gorley beats up Albert, the gang pose as movie producers to get their revenge.

Ash and Albert have mistakenly conned a desperate businessman. Now everything rests on selling a wealthy art collector a fake painting in order to make amends.

Mickey finds himself being blackmailed by Maher into helping him catch a bank robber. Maher has an old videotape of Danny Blue involved in a robbery and unless Mickey agrees to help, he will turn it over to the police. Albert, who has had dealings with Maher in the past, warns Mickey that the ex-cop is very good at what he does.

Mickey uses sex appeal to con a recently divorced businesswoman, but the con is turned on its head when he starts to fall for her.

The team use a horse-betting scam to con a city businessman, but things come unstuck when their previous mark vows revenge.
