Monny 4+

This is a great app to record and track expenses but you will have to manually key in entries diligently. I have been using this app for more than 2 years since 2020. If you are using iOS, u can add widget for convenient and quick keying of entries with minimum hassle.

Free and easy to use. One thing i like is the recurring expenses function that automatically updates your fixed expenses at specific day of the month and intervals - which I use to track subscription and other fixed expenses like insurance.

Customisable categories and description of expenses, compiled reports to show total spendings which can also split into its categories. Easy to back up and restore data as well. With premium, u can lock ur app with passcode for privacy and have more analytical functions such as piechart, graphs etc at a one time cost.

App is constantly upgrading and improving too, ever changing. Seen a few updates since I last installed and it gets more conveniently and descriptive which helps to record my daily expenses. Tried a few other data recording apps for my day to day use but this works better than most. Highly recommended lol

No need to pay and it’s easy to use. Tried many different apps and those apps even though are also free but they have entry limit like can only use for a while then have to pay to continue using or need to delete past records. But i have tried this app for many months already and didn’t have such issue. The challenges, although there’s glitches here and there, they also make it a little more fun. The challenges are just for fun so the glitches doesn’t affect my user experience at all.

Reasons why I love this app

1. Useful because u can have more than 1 account, accounting for different card usage perhaps.
2. Separates my expenses by class (eg. Transport, food, etc.)
3. Really appreciate the recurring expense tool, useful for accounting for Transport Concession Passes instead of having to manually key in for each day or tracking it as a lump sum at the start/end of the month.
4. Can add photos in as u track ur expenses which acts as a little journal of my day to day expenses! Making it not only a tracker but also a mini diary to look back and rmb what was worth or not worth spending on.
5. App features are Super cute!
6. Budgeting Feature!!! It’s life changing. I have never been so conscious of how much I spend each week until now
