    Living Sacrifice has had one of the largest impacts on Christian Metal out of any band that I can think of. Originating in the late 1980's and early 1990's Living Sacrifice released a trilogy of albums that explored the extremity of Thrash and Death Metal and they would go on to influence countless bands as well as set the band up to transition into one of the most popular metalcore bands in the Christian music scene as well as metal at large.     Rediscovering Why Christian Music is Frustrating

    I've been a fan of Christian Metal for well over 20 years, and while I would still consider myself a strong supporter of the scene, over the years there have been certain frustrations and disappointments that have come along with it.     Linkin Park's debut album changed everything for Nu Metal and Hard Rock in the early 2000's. By introducing harder elements in a more digestible and family friendly package, Linkin Park was able to establish a much larger install base of fans than their contemporaries at the time.
