Sands captures the humor of Maggie's mishaps and creates distinctive voices for the other characters, including a surly growl for Malone, an Irish lilt for Father Tim, a seductive purr for Maggie's flirty friend, and quavering tones for Maggie's elderly neighbor. The result is an engaging, humorous listen. A HQN paperback.

very cute
I think the protagonist deserves better but I enjoyed this book nonetheless! She should get recognition from the town she services selflessly, or at least more buzz for her diner. The romance managed to evoke steaminess without being explicit, which is so rare.
Catch of the Day
This author never fails to make me smile, laugh, cry and keep reading her books. She always manages to touch my heart with her stories of real life. A must read, wonderful book like all her others.
