A Very Unique Kind of Art Book

Eloy has provided us with his post modern version of a coffee table book. It is full of his interesting and beautiful artwork, yet at the same time it asks the question “What am I reading?” The book provides the reader with tiny definitions of things we most likely already know, and includes a small autobiographical anecdote about Eloy's life. The book shows a selection of Eloy's art and how different his style can be from one painting or drawing to the next. He seems to have run out of words by the end leaving the reader with the simple sentence “Art is dead.” This obviously points to an existential conflict that arises in many talented modern day artists. Is the art I create worth anything? Does anyone care about art anymore? Well, you know what? I’m going to put this in a book anyway!
