Your podcast is really good but your guest on the episode of “Ed and Lorraine Warren “ was totally wrong when he said there is no mention of “Holy Water “ in the Bible . It’s in Numbers : And he (the priest) shall take holy water in an earthen vessel, and he shall take some of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle and put it into the water . Numbers 5: 17 Also, Numbers 8:5-8 and Numbers 19: 9, 11-13.

Two years ago I walked away from a charismatic Christian community after feeling convicted that it had been infiltrated with (unintentionally) manipulative “ministry” methods and unbiblical theology. Leaving was one of the hardest choices I’d ever had to make— these people had become like my family. I questioned my decision over and over again, doubting my instincts and what God had opened my eyes to, and would get anxious that I didn’t do the right thing. Then one day I found this podcast because I was looking for an answer to a question I had at the time that was seemingly unrelated (*why* is numerology incompatible with Christianity?”). I listened to Jen and Doreen explain how they had both come out of the New Age and Occult and now they were committed to exposing the deception of numerology. They quoted scripture and expressed how God has never approved of His people trying to find hidden knowledge. In that moment, I realized that this same group I had been apart of had been unknowingly practicing numerology. I felt a pit in my stomach and listened to every episode, one after another, afraid but determined to find out “what else from the new age has crept into the church undetected?”. Love spell rituals disguised as “breaking soul ties”, psychic cold readings rebranded as “prophecy” and numerology masquerading as “words of knowledge”. We need to be on guard against demonic counterfeits because people are being deceived. Partial truth is not the truth. This podcast has helped sharpen my discernment and educated me on what is biblical and what is rooted in darkness. I can’t thank you guys enough for all you do.

So she went from one cult to another. 🙄
