The beginning was necessary, but I was to involved with the two matings to be ready for the third. My fault for not getting into Vince and Veronica. When the couples blended towards the end it made sense. Good read!
Gentle Scars Trilogy
Easily ended up being my favorite book in this genre so far. I had to keep reading, I was definitely hooked. So I paid for the next 2 books in this trilogy. It is always a pet peeve of mine when I’m trying to get into a book and the spelling is all over the place. I don’t mean language barrier typos either, just lazy mistakes not corrected. This had 1, if any. Then there is her writing style, so detailed. Aside from the fact that it’s shifters, it’s 100% emotionally relatable. It envelopes you. My heart actually hurts and then heals for these characters and I am genuinely sad that there isn’t more books pertaining specifically to these characters. New fav. shifter writer, hands down!!! 🙌🏻
