Jill Krop is an iconic journalist, broadcaster, and news executive in British Columbia.

She was the News Director at Global BC and Global News: BC 1, leading one of the most successful newsrooms in Canada that included the oversight of 980AM CKNW Radio and Global Okanagan. In August 2020, she announced her resignation to seek new opportunities outside of news and journalism where she enjoyed an illustrious thirty-four year career.
