In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to Sufjan Stevens' album "Illinoise" while driving around Chicago as child. The maximalist production on songs like "Come On Feel The Illinoise" would send me into a toddler trance and I just couldn't stop playing it over and over. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Big Thief, Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You The Mountain Goats, The Sunset Tree Wilco, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot These three albums came to me at turning points in my life. My earliest childhood memories are set to Wilco, my transition into adolescence was guided by The Mountain Goats and as I entered into adulthood there was Big Thief to welcome me! Tell us why you chose this song. “The Warming Winter” This is my first attempt at producing one of my own songs and I learned so much about layering sound and bringing my many talented friends into my music! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I've been able to play multiple shows with musicians that I had previously been a fan of including Advance Base, Amanda Huff, and I even got to go on tour with Long Mama! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are many things! One of the main ones is to play a show where my parents and sister join me to sing the songs that defined my childhood.
