Among my top podcasts. The people who collect here with Zev are genuinely curious, creative, ingenious minds with impressive persistence. Gives me hope for the planet to know smart folks are sleuthing out the roots of problems — and sometimes laughing at the lunacy they uncover.

Zev, you’re ignoring an expert: Rachel Bitecofer is telling us what she sees, and you’re trying to sugar-coat this historical moment. Things are getting worse, and don’t look great. Truck strikes led to the coup in Chile, and yes the CIA and other bad American actors had a hand in that — but it did happen, and fast. It can happen here too, and it can be as fast as January 2023 after the House turns in November. Listen to what Rachel says. She has data. You have emotions and personal perceptions. I don’t think I can watch you anymore.
