About Lee Aaron
Lee Aaron is an award-winning Canadian singer, musician, and songwriter. Coming up in Toronto's hard rock scene during the early '80s, she broke through to the mainstream with 1984's Metal Queen, in a season of heavy metal exploration that peaked with 1989's Bodyrock. She distanced herself from the genre during the '90s and explored pop and alt-rock before re-emerging as a successful jazz and blues singer during the new century's first decade. Aaron revisited the hard rock roots of her youth and returned to recording with a refined, blues-based hard rock style to resume her reign as a dynamic, high-energy touring act in North America and Europe. 2016's Fire and Gasoline and its 2018 follow-up, Diamond Baby Blues, were drenched in polished hard rock with raw guitars. She returned in 2021 with Radio On! and 2022's Elevate. Aaron covered 11 iconic rock & roll songs on 2024's Tattoo Me. ~ Thom Jurek
