When something happens it can make you have to be willing to take a dangerous chance…

Lissa Quinn doesn't expect that her bakery would become the scene of a gunfight when someone takes a shot at her and with the help of others she escapes. Now there are people around her trying to find out who wants to kill her and why. If being in danger isn't enough she finds herself attracted to one of the men guarding her. She doesn't want to desire him but her body wants him. And maybe other parts of her too.  

Cole Ellis is used to being in control in all aspects of his life. He will stay in control of himself until the case is over. Her safety is the most important thing. Lissa might think different and want them to give in now. But he wasn't about to do that. They will wait and solve who is trying to kill her.
