Now, I feel this need to be grounded. Of ways to get out of your comfort zone without having to actually travel the world

5 Ways to Change Your Perception Without Traveling.

5 things you can do within your own city to gain a new perspective and a fresh outlook on life.

Try a new restaurant
I’m always searching google maps for new restaurants when I’m travelling. For some reason, I dont do this enough when I am in my own hometown. By trying new restaurants and experiencing new cultures, you can really gain a fresh perspective.
Visit a friend at the other end of the city
If you're going to go to a park, hiking, or shopping, let your friend choose the destination. Getting out of your own neighbourhood allows you to get out of your comfort zone in a small way, that can make a big difference. Experience a different rhythm without all the logistics of travelling.
Be spontaneous
I love to just walk different streets. Walk around without a real destination. Be open to the world around you. I recommend walking instead of driving because it's through walking that you really get to experience your environment. Go with the flow and just see what happens.
Disconnect - leave your phone at home. Talk to people. Drive or walk without a real destination. Just leave your phone somewhere else so you can be free. Tap into your true potential by being mindful about disconnecting from your smartphone.
Spend time alone. Visit a local museum, restaurant, park, or anywhere. Just go alone as it’s so powerful to go within. Get ready to be refreshed by spending time alone. You can seriously raise your vibration through new experiences, alone.

For so long I wanted to run away and travel. That’s what my book is all about. I still feel the need to gain new perspective and travel, but not as much. I can do things within my own city to give me that same sense of aliveness without booking a flight.

I hate routines. My soul wouldn't let me work a 9-5 job. I am so lucky that I followed my intuition to be an entrepreneur. Instead, I thrive from being a soul-led, creative entrepreneur.
