The artwork is the most recent painting I have done. It represents further investigation into neo-expressionism, my favorite style at the moment. Is This The End of Garbage Bag?

This could very well be the conclusion of The Broken Skyline series. Unlike the last few books in this series this one explores a more personal matter. It doesn’t deal with a NYC-wide tragedy, instead it is issues within the characters, and for the first time in these books we really feel the impact of humans on the narrative. The first piece of art we see has the faintest shadow of the human form cast upon a photograph of some blue texture. It is this human form that starts the entire narrative off by throwing Garbage Bag into the Hudson River. Once in the river Garbage Bag lays witness to all the other things man has chucked into the river frivolously polluting his own environment. This goes to show how aptly titled this book is, Man is the danger to his own environment. Eloy turns the narrative once more to the buildings of NYC, but this is the first time we hear of their inability to do anything to save Garbage Bag. They are stationary, and even though they want to save him, they cannot move from their spots. They wish to change the environment around themselves, but they are powerless to do so. Meanwhile Garbage Bag is stuck under a bridge collecting moss, also incapable of getting himself out of this situation. Then the next human character introduced is Eloy himself who laments the loss of his great canvas, the Garbage Bag, following this we see the cryptic words “The End” inscribed on the last page.
