She is the Founder and President of Pro Sports Assembly, the first member-led trade association for leaders in professional sports working to advance diverse and inclusive leadership inside of teams, leagues and unions. Laura is also the Founder of Long Game Ventures, a management consulting firm that guides business executives to create and operationalize new ventures and achieve their goals for impact.
Her past accolades include serving as the head of external relations for Spurs Sports and Entertainment, establishing Silver & Black Give Back (the Spurs Foundation), creating the social impact strategy for all franchisees and the corporate administration, and serving as council alongside the State Department on sports envoys, fellowships, and programs connecting passionate leaders and organizations across the globe.
Prior to 2009, when Laura joined Spurs Sports and Entertainment, she flexed her entrepreneurial prowess by founding Victor Credo LLC, an advisory firm geared towards assisting high profile coaches and athletes in advancing their careers and social impact for their off-court businesses. Her clients included the Global Games, Bill Self, Chris Bosh, Deron Williams, Public Strategies, Prime Time Sportz, coaches associations, municipalities, school districts, universities and North American indigenous tribes.
Ultimately, her forte is partnering with sports executives to build coalitions, set a vision, develop a plan, and execute with excellence. She seeks to inspire inclusivity and encourages progressive ways of thinking and behaving by leveraging the narrative of her past experiences.
