What a wild ride! Sabrina is dealing with all the change in this new season of life, where she breaks up with her fiancé and helps her best friend with her dying wish – and then ends up on the beach in the middle of a hurricane without being able to move her to safety. Thankfully, Price’s family is just as crazy as they are and is on the same beach and comes to her rescue. Meeting at such a pivotal point in Sabrina’s life, she latches onto Price even though she can’t figure out why she’s so drawn to him, and he feels the same way. But when Price’s sister makes it clear she isn’t a fan of Sabrina, Price immediately drops her, even though they live in the same town after returning from vacation. Upset but moving forward with her life, she’s bombarded with problems from her ex-fiancé, and unbeknownst to her, Price is still keeping tabs on her and trying to make things better for her, even though that’s not the case. Finally, Price grows a pair and stops fighting the pull he has towards Sabrina, regardless of how his sister feels, and good thing with her past coming back to haunt her. My heart truly broke for Sabrina – it seemed that she just continued to get the bad end of things and when it rained it truly poured with the bad things in her life. I’m so excited to see what’s next with this group of brothers!

This is Price's story. We met him in the previous book and he was an absolute sweetheart and I really could not wait to explore his story. He is the brother to Cannel, who we met in the "Chalk Dirty to Me." While this story can stand alone. you should make sure and read Cannel's story because she is a very important part of this story.

Honestly I kinda hated Cannel and Price in this book. Had I not loved her before this book, I would have really hated her in this story. And how Price treats Sabrina in this story because of Cannel well my heart hurt for Sabrina and it made me not like Price for a bit of this story.

This story also had a lot of Cancer storylines in this book. So if that is a sensitive subject you should be aware that it has some sad moments as Sabrina is very much surrounded by it.

What I really loved about this story was that Sabrina and Price are not your typical Lani characters and even the typical romance book type of characters. For one Price is hot, but he is not perfect either. He is described as not having that perfect abs or body like a majority of Lani characters. Sabrina is also not your svelte character either. She likes food and doesn't really care much about her weight. She is who she is and she makes no apologies about that and I kinda loved that about her.

There were times I hated Price with how he treats Sabrina. But he also despite what he says, he can't leave her alone and well that got me to forgive him a little and started to like him again. I also really liked that despite all that, he is totally there for Sabrina through all her challenges and problems that pop up.

This was an intense and drama filled story and there were times I hated Price but I also grew to love him and forgive him for how torn he was between Cannel and Sabrina.
