All of the characters are so well written. And it just makes me wanting more. Way to go team!
I thoroughly enjoyed this latest installment in the Leveling Up series.
Jess is getting the hang of her magic and her gargoyle form. The crew is coming together well under Austin’s watchful eye. Holy polar bears, Austin Steele. *deep sigh* Ever the gentleman, he just makes me melt! Can I keep him? I look forward to seeing how Austin and Jess move forward with their relationship. I like how they’re both valuing their friendship above all. I feel like they’re both what the other needs and that maybe Jess is the one to finally tame that polar bear. Also, hilarity ensues when the folks come by for a visit. Needless to say we find where Jess gets her quirks from. The story is paced well throughout. The build up to the confrontation was smooth. Jess is definitely giving Elliot Graves a run for his money. Which I think peeks his interest even more. I’m excited for the next book to see if Graves makes his move and how Jess finds her way of his grasp.

OMG! Jess’s parents are so much like my in-laws. So funny. A delightful retreat from real life that entertains, empowers, and engages. Non stop fun.
