Description
ClusterCards is an easy to use business card scanner. Just snap a picture of any business card and ClusterCards lets you skip the typing by automatically finding and transcribing all the key information, such as emails and phone numbers.

My Favorite Business Card Manager
Thus far I have 283 cards saved in this app and it makes it so convenient for me to find them when I’m in a hurry. The majority of my cards were already digitized by the time I found this app so my first “like” was that I could import them directly (both front and back) from the image library on my iPad rather than being forced to rescan them all again like some apps make you do. My second “like” was the fact that I could pull all my cards in exactly as they appeared rather than having the app “optimize” the image and mess it up (like certain BC apps that shall remain nameless do). My third “like” was that I could easily share which ever cards I wanted with friends through a simple sms message or an email with the images of the card. Next, I like that I can make my own categories (folders) for my cards and organize them any way I want to.
I do hope the developer continues to update this app as it is my absolute favorite! I would even donate to him again if that would help!
Painful to Use and No Features
Just downloaded and used to try and scan 4 business cards. Found crop functionality very painful to use since you have to try and look under your finger/thumb to see what you’re cropping. Also, search doesn’t work and there is no organization once your cards are scanned. They are just sitting there like a bunch of images in a photo album. One other thing I found undesirable is that it seems to want to store the images in my photo library. If I wanted that, I would just take pictures of them. It would be easier to edit them that way as well.

Hey, I’m truly sorry about your bad experience! I’m very aware of these issues and have been working hard to improve the experience.
Cards 1.1 is coming very soon, with fixes to search as well as iCloud Sync and Contacts Sync, which means it no longer backs cards up to your photo library.
As per the crop issue, you can tap near the circle rather than on top of it to move the points - I’m working hard on clarifying this and I’m hoping to make it clearer on the update after 1.1.
Again, sorry for your experience, and I hope Cards 1.1, which is arriving soon, helps with your frustrations.
