Question
04/22/2022
This may be a dumb question. Could long COVID be COVID jumping back and forth from a domestic animal, such as a human to dog and back? I had heard it’s in a deer and some other animals, and it jumps back to humans. Can you have an episode on this subject?
Good enough

Nice quick easy skim of current covid info. If you want a more detailed deep dive into current covid situation go to a different podcast… but this is a nice brief broad view. Please cover long covid PASC more when discussing the “end” of this pandemic into endemic. This is a disabling condition many are living with >2 years. Being more informative on this urgent issue isn’t being pessimistic- it’s realistic and any more info that can be brought to public will help people make daily decisions.

Always Fresh Insights and Information You Can Use
01/11/2022
I listen to almost every known podcast on COVID and this always delivers fresh insights not found on others. Dr. Kissler is clear, kind, and reasonable—balls and strikes. I use the information to protect the workforce I oversee and see around corners with this ever-changing information landscape. The host, Matt Botteger, asks about the real world concerns we’re all facing to great effect.
Voices of reason and knowledge

This podcast has kept me grounded and informed. I’m grateful that Matt researches the right questions to ask and that Dr. Kissler lends his time and knowledge to give listeners his expertise—I know that what I’m hearing is the latest and best information as we know it at this moment. Thank you!
Making the science of the pandemic accessible
11/29/2021
I have been listening throughout the pandemic and I have been remiss in not leaving a review (or maybe I have previously - it’s been a long 20 months). It has been fascinating to hear an epidemiologist discuss what he’s learned about a novel virus in real time. It has also been reassuring to receive useful, actionable advice on living life and managing risk during the most significant global crisis of my lifetime. The information is delivered clearly and without the hysteria and sensationalism we get in the headlines. The format - a conversation between a layperson and an expert - is engaging and never dry. As we head into ‘Omicron Winter’ (seems like it was just ‘Delta Summer’ 🤦🏻♀️), I will continue to rely on this podcast to stayed informed and take reasonable steps to keep myself and my partner safe and healthy.
Timely, informative, relatable information

I’m very happy I discovered this podcast. I’ve been listening mainly in the last couple of months. I really appreciate the scope of information and how what is discussed is backed up by the most recent data. In a rapidly changing environment it is really helpful to have data to make informed decisions about behaviors. This week for example they provided concrete ways to help make family gatherings more safe. Thank you for the work you’re doing.
