Overall this is a good podcast. I listened to the podcast with Ray Dalio and was so angry because every time Ray Dalio was going to say something that was very interesting, the host would cut him off in a very rude way and ask him a question or just say whatever he’s thinking. For example, when Ray Dalio was going off on a tangent about taxes and confiscation being one and the same, the host just cut him off with some snobby remark and completely changed the whole subject. Think about it. Would the audience get more value from listening to a 50 year active global macro investor or a host who read his book over a weekend? But overall, a solid podcast.

This used to be my favorite podcast for 3-4 years but as most others noted they have gone the way of the ring. Sad because they used to have really good takes and open dialogues that help challenge my views and opinions.

Ever since Chamath and Sacks got involved and donated to the Trump administration, the pod has shifted towards pro-MAGA, with especially Chamath no longer having a balanced take on the administration…often giving roundabout, wordy answers and takes for the administration’s actions, zero criticism. Almost as if he fears Trump if he ever gave criticism. Guests have also been mostly if not completely pro-MAGA. Still love the pod with Jcal (who’s starting to push back and offer criticism). The point of the pod was a balanced discussion on politics, tech, business, etc. not what it’s been for the past half year…

It’s not looking good

They’ve really lost all credibility at this point. You can find older episodes where they vehemently opposed and criticized the very same political practices they’re lauding now. Guess everyone has a price but are they not already rich enough? We won’t forget when the pendulum swings

Don’t waste your time listening to these idiots

Guys, for the love of God please recapture the magic. This has become the Jason show and it’s 20% of the value that it once was. The last shows with Jason have been almost unlistenable. If you guys aren’t going to balance the virtual signaling, msnbc talking points just rename it the Jason Show. Jason should curb his untethered liberal rants for the sake of the loyal audience who had (past tense) trusted this pod as a valuable resource.

They’re rich, but more to do with hard work and luck than smarts. Basically a rich dude circle jerk filled with smug diatribes. Not worth the listen.

Listen to 4 rich guys sell out their previous beliefs and go all in on sucking Trump off to save their investment positions.
