Description

All joking aside, this time you will understand how electronic circuits work. Build any circuit, tap play button, and watch dynamic voltage, current, and charge animations. This gives you insight into circuit operation like no equation does. While simulation is running, adjust circuit parameters with analog knob, and the circuit responds to your actions in real time. You can even generate an arbitrary input signal with your finger!

"This app takes design to a whole new level of interactivity" - Design News

EveryCircuit is not just an eye candy. Under the hood it packs custom-built simulation engine optimized for interactive mobile use, serious numerical methods, and realistic device models. In short, Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's current and voltage laws, nonlinear semiconductor device equations, and all the good stuff is there.

Growing library of components gives you freedom to design any analog or digital circuit from a simple voltage divider to transistor-level masterpiece.

Schematic editor features automatic wire routing, and minimalistic user interface. No nonsense, less tapping, more productivity.

Simplicity, innovation, and power, combined with mobility, make EveryCircuit a must-have companion for high school science and physics students, electrical engineering college students, breadboard and printed circuit board (PCB) enthusiasts, and ham radio hobbyists.

Join EveryCircuit cloud community to store your circuits on cloud and access them from any of your mobile devices. Explore public community circuits and share your own designs.

EveryCircuit is free to download and use. There is an option to purchase the Full Version of EveryCircuit that allows you to build and simulate large circuits, save unlimited number of circuits, store them on cloud, and sync between your devices. It is available via a one time in-app purchase for $14.99.

Doesn’t tell you about limits until you reach them

I was making a circuit and hoped to solve my problem with this nice app, but I quickly reached a limit of free simulation

App License Does Not Work

I tried purchasing the unlimited version, but luckily I was told that I have already purchased this before and can just unlock the full version. Great! So I did that, and when trying to run a circuit comprised of 2 voltage sources, a transistor, 2 resistors, and an LED I was informed this was a “large circuit” and that I would have to purchase the unlimited version…which I already had transferred my previous license. It seems the app currently does not recognize that you have an active subscription and will limit you to the pre-made circuits. I’ll change my rating once the dev team updates the issue.

I want to like it

I’ve been trying to figure out why the capacitor simulation never runs correctly. I tried several different self made circuits that would blink a light when the capacitor is charged, but if never worked. I assumed it was my error.

Today I found a LED flasher circuit that someone else made in the community, and I opened it. IT WORKED! … and then stopped. I didn’t change anything about it. I just paused the simulation, then started it again. Nothing I did made it work again.

After several tests, I *think* the simulation breaks when running capacitor charges. At least, I tried four different RC circuits and none of them behaved as they would in real life. And several other kinds I tried wouldn’t pass any current at all.

So. I think it’s the simulation.

I really loved the simplicity of this app, but it’s making me feel like I’m going crazy. I hope that if this is actually broken there will be a fix soon.
