This is a great start to a new series. I am looking forward to more in this series. I couldn’t put this story down. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next in this crazy interview between Savannah and Chad.
Savannah needs to land this job but the interview is not off to a great start. She is late due to the location be moved and out of breath climbing those stairs. Chad is a force of nature in his industry and she wants to be able to learn from him. She just has to make it through the interview and ignore her attraction to him. Simple, right? She doesn’t foresee his plan though. Will they realize that they would be perfect for each other?

This is short story #9 in the Forbidden Confessions series by Shayla Black. This is my first time reading anything in this series and I was glad I read it! This is Chad and Savannah’s story. This is an age gap/boss-assistant romance. Savannah needs the job as Chad’s assistant. She is wildly attracted to him and he is also attracted to her. This is an insta-love type story. The couple is likable together and individually. The book is steamy, interesting, and an enjoyable quick read. I’ll definitely read more of the series stories.
