A love story
This is not for the fair hearts. This is about a love with complications, lies, and betrayals. There are moving parts to this story and is enjoyable to read. True, it does have violence in the story, and there are other authors with similar stories. In the end, love prevailed.❤️
Should’ve come with a trigger warning
Slade is very likable. Most of the characters have layers which I appreciate as a reader. However, several themes and subject matter regarding abuse, assault, narcissistic relationships and violence were too much to stomach. This book needs to have a trigger warning label for sure. Read at your own risk.
