Man this was a breath of fresh air. I’ve finished reading a series of 15 books that was about darkness and danger, a lot of torn characters with deep secrets. Then I stumbled up the sample of this book and it was just the laugh I needed after coming off of the series I just read. It got me in the first chapter the way a good book should. It was full of laughter and I LOVED IT!! I never say that about a book. I love that the story continues and to find out a whole series is based off this small town place. I might be bias reading the others because this one was the first one I read, but I really really loved it. The whole Cassies and Wes dynamic was so fun. I never felt like any of the character were whining or complaining like a lot of writers make female character or even heart broken character sound. It was GOOD CLEAN FUN! Even the sex scene were clean. Left a lot to the imagination of the reader, and I like it! Like hinting at the sexual attraction without ever bluntly coming out with it. Literally I needed a good laugh and Cassie and that Dog gave me one good one. I seriously was laughing long after I read past that part just thinking about it. This is the longest review of a book I’ve done lol so that should tell yah to read the sample and give it a fair shot. And I’m a sucker for fun heart love in the end stories.
