Publisher Description
An unpauseable new romance from New York Times bestselling, Audie Award winning author Kylie Scott!
When Anna wakes up from a coma after a car crash, she discovers life has gone on without her. Her husband has been unfaithful—with her best friend—and she’s been long since replaced at work. While her old life is a distant memory, her new life feels like an empty shell. Then she meets the stranger who saved her life during the crash, and he changes everything.
Leif Larsen—tattooist, joker, and player—has his own scars thanks to the crash that put Anna in a coma. Helping her move on from her failed marriage, and create a new life, sounds like a perfect distraction. So when he needs a new roommate, he invites Anna to begin her new life with him.
Although their lives may have been put on pause, together they just might find a way to heal.

I love the FMC and the MMC, only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because I needed more action in that ending. I need her to be rescued and the bad guys to end up in a cop car with Leif holding her beside the dogwood. Just a little more drama.
What a different read from this author!
What a different read from this author! I wish I would’ve read the first book in this series because I feel like it would have familiarized me with Leif and his personality. The book starts with Anna waking up from being in a coma for months, and slowly getting her memory back and realizing her life isn’t what it previously was. Leif was the person who found Anna and stayed with her after saving her, and when Anna finds out his role in the accident, she somewhat latches onto him because she feels a strong pull and connection. While they initially fight their relationship, they finally give into the feelings that have been budding, especially when it helps both of them to heal from their past and the pain prior to the accident. This was a cute read, and per usual, I love Kylie’s style of writing. I can’t wait to see what comes next and I definitely will be going back to read the first installment in this series!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
So so good!
