Great Romance; Abrupt Climax!
I was hooked immediately. Heroine meets mysterious, hunky Scot. The reader is drawn in as it becomes obvious they have a romantic past that only he remembers. He disappears as suddenly as he appeared. Will she meet him again? Of course she will! Through the wondrous agency of time travel, romance and adventure follow. BUT THEN (and this is the part I didn’t like), leaving every loose end dangling, BOOM! ...The End!
No explanation as to why important, family obligations no longer apply. No suggestion of future plans which would appear crucial to one of the leading characters who makes a major decision to live in another’s time period. The incomplete ending is why I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5.
NOTE: I loved this author’s book, “The Enemy”, which had a more sensible narrative.
Highland Passage
This is a wonderful story of soulmates who span the centuries in search of each other conqueror all obstacles. Wonderful characters and an insight into 1700 Scotland. I thoroughly enjoyed it.....April H Jacksonville Fl
