Great App but it is missing something

I love this app so much since I am a pre-med student, I would have given it five stars if it had two features: the ablity to take notes and to highlight. I REALLY wish they had that, because if they did, it would be the ULTIMATE study guide and student's best friend.

That's the year the original was printed. I agree that the implementation could be improved. But let's be serious, There was a lot of work that went into digitizing this valuable work, to say nothing of the original words and art. More folks might be better served appreciating what is rather than focusing on what is not. I can't figure out how to make gestures with my trackball, and the "zoom" menu item doesn't seem to do much of anything. The directions, since they don't really exist, aren't a lot of help. But, then again, maybe the person(s) who did all the work on this thought that anyone bright enough to want/need to read/use this material would be bright enough to figure out how to use it. Then again, maybe they just figured that they could eliminate the less bright so as to help protect the rest of humanity. I have no idea. As far as my usage goes I don't need to zoom on my 27" screen. I can see that this might be an issue on smaller screens.

I think the scans are as good as possible, or very close to that goal. This is a wonderful gift from the authors and those that did the scanning. If you really need notes on the computer, break down and splurge $1.99 on the Premium edition!

Awesome!

Although the info is a bit old, this app is by far the best digital version of this text that I’ve seen! It is very convenient to navigate through and find specific things and the pictures can be seen alongside a scrolling text box which makes it much easier to read. Thanks so much!
