In this episode Rushenka speaks to Travis Joy, Program Manager, Young ICT Explorers together with Edwin Tomlins Teacher at Wahroonga Public School and Benjamin Gonzalez who is a former winner of the Young ICT Explorers Competition. Young ICT Explorers is a non-profit competition, which has been created by SAP to encourage school students to create their best Information and Communication Technology (ICT) related projects. Being a former student involved in the competition, Benjamin explains the career skills he gained from being involved in the competition and the career opportunities this has provided to him. Edwin explains how his school got involved in the competition and what is involved for schools and the students to get involved and the benefits this has given his students taking part. Having seen some amazing innovative projects from school students, Travis highlights some of the previous projects that have been developed and the confidence he sees in students that take part in the competition.
