I am a teenager and I have never felt more thankful that I was given the gift of being a woman. After listening to Angela Harders’ story, I felt God’s gentle voice telling me how truly strong, courageous, and wonderful he made women to be. This world communicates toxic ideas to girls, some that have even affected me. One day I asked my friends who they wanted to be when they grew up. I asked this question expecting them all to answer “doctor” or “teacher” or “business woman”, only to hear most of them say how strongly they desired to become mothers. At the time, this response was strange. I asked myself, “wouldn’t they want to become something, well, better?”. After I had watched one of your Youtube shorts, I realized how lost I truly was. Around the time I was first introduced to your work, I was reading the book of Ruth. God was connecting a trail of undeniable truth before my eyes. Here I was thinking that the roles of wives and mothers were weak or of a lower status than high-paying careers. However, the truth is that the role of a loving wife and mother is one of the most important and rewarding jobs in this world. All means to say, thank you. I am thankful to you and, even more so to God for His patience and grace. You and the guests on this podcast have helped to change the way I think about myself and other young women around this world. To any woman who may need to hear this, you ARE capable and you CAN be a mother. In the season of Christmas, remember what it is about. Negative stars for Kristan Hawkins. She is a self righteous, judgmental, and delusional person who seems to hate women not as privileged as herself. As someone who was a patient of Planned Parenthood for basic (life saving) healthcare when I had no health insurance, I find her ignorance and misogynistic rhetoric utterly appalling.
