Publisher Description
Standalone novel in the Jupiter Point series -- meet the smoking hot Knight brothers…
Deputy Will Knight and reporter Merry Warren couldn’t be more different—she’s the queen of questions, he’s the king of no comment. The inquisitive beauty drives Will crazy with her feisty attitude and sassy mouth…the one with the lips just made for kissing. Not that he’s noticed. Much. He’s too busy working an arson case that may be tied to something much bigger.
Merry doesn’t need the sexy distraction that is Will Knight. She’s currently working undercover on the most important story of her career. And now her new boss wants her to tackle a local cold case—the unsolved murder of Will’s father. He’s going to love that.
An alpha male with a protective streak a mile wide, and a fiercely independent reporter with a talent for trouble. The sexual tension is three years in the making, and before Will knows it, he’s in hot pursuit of Merry…and they’re both headed straight to danger.

See AllA Really Good Read
Merry and Will are my new favorite couple in Jupiter Point! I love their chemistry, their banter, their friction, and their fun. The fact that they are attracted to each as professionals and then find out they have a secret attraction as well is fantastic. They believe they shouldn't be a good combination but, they absolutely are and then some.
The dramatic and suspenseful storyline plus the additions of Will's brothers and Merry's brother to the scene makes this book draw you in and keep you glued to the pages. I'm looking forward to see what happens next, especially with the fresh blood to the singles market of Jupiter Point.
Straight to the Stars!
Will & Merry are so much fun to read! They have sparks gallory and dont want to admit they are attracted to each other , till they find out that the person they where talking to on a sight called Flirt is each other! They can't believe they didn't put the pieces together since Will is a Deputy and Merry is a journaliest and it goes with both their lines of work .Come along as they work throught the rocky road to their HEA . I love how the toher couple ( from the other books ) pop up here and there I truly enjoy seeing whats going on with everyone even if its just a bit here and there. CAN NOT wait to read what comes next !
Hot Cop
It is appropriate that I got to read the latest Jupiter Point novel, Hot Pursuit, by Jennifer Bernard this week. While everyone was gazing towards the sky for the eclipse, I was visiting my favorite stargazing destination. Deputy Will Knight and reporter Merry Warren have been sparing since the start of the series. Though their jobs made them logical adversaries, in reality they were trying to hide their attraction to each other. A case of mistaken identity and anonymous flirting allows them to see each other’s hidden depths, which changes their relationship for the better. We also get to learn much more about Will’s family as his brothers come home to reopen the old airstrip. I always love it best when the characters have to work together to solve a problem. This book has that in spades. Will and Merry make a good team in all aspects of their lives. There are also new questions that I hope will be answered as the next books move forward.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.
