Though the cartoonish characterization of the Iranian villain is disappointing, the chemistry between Mason and Alex is palpable and the plotting is taut. Snappy prose and hair-raising danger keep the pages of this steamy suspense novel flying.

I love the Deep Six series as much as I loved the Black Knight Inc series... I hate waiting so long for the next book but I know it will be just as exciting as the previous books😍
Fantastic action!

This is book 3 in the Deep Six series and it features Mason and Alex. She’s 27 years old and her main goal at this point in her life is to lose her V card. She wants to give it to Mason. He wants her so bad but thinks he can’t be what she wants or needs.
This story is full of sexy, alpha, retired Navy SEALs, fantastic action, fun banter amongst the group and some intense introspection. The story line was awesome and the characters were people I’d love to have as friends. I can’t wait for more from this amazing author.
Another great action-suspense romance!
Julie Ann Walker delivers another action-packed, romantic suspense novel in her Deep Six series. Before picking up this book I went back and re-read the others in the series, since it’s been a little while since we were treasure hunting on Wayfarer Island with the former Navy Seals crew of Deep Six. While I’d imagine it could be read as a stand-alone, Mason McCarthy and Alex Merriweather and the full cast of characters are introduced in the other books in the series. They’re just good reads, so why not check them out?
There’s a lot of chemistry between Alex and Mason, as well as some angsty moments. She never stops talking and he grunts out short answers, which makes for an entertaining contrast. I’m glad we get alternating points of view so we can see what they’re both thinking. Mason has been marked by an ugly divorce and the things he’s seen and done in the Navy. In comparison, Alex has always been on an academic track and is much more innocent (including still having her virginity, that she desperately wants Mason to take). Then there’s the bad guys from Mason’s past chasing after him, with Alex getting caught in the crosshairs, and, well, you’ll have to read to find out what happens.
This is a great addition to the Deep Six series and I definitely recommend this book and this author!
