Let's GO. (The Notorious RBG Mantra)

Let's GO. (The Notorious RBG Mantra)

To many, Ruth Bader Ginsberg was a symbol of endurance, a public servant we elevated to celebrity status during a period when it felt impossible to find anything or anyone to believe in. RBG was a unicorn, a woman who used her voice AND got what she asked for; a woman who fought the system and changed it for the better and eventually would be asked to uphold that very system for the rest of her life. She would want us to defend it, she would want us to know that Democracy is bigger than one small woman, and she would want us to fight. LET'S GO.

3/9/20: True Jack@ss (The Breakup Mantra)

One of Coach MK's Runners posted the following comment in one of the Facebook groups: "Got Dumped. Feel like crap." That comment warrants a response, and Coach MK reminds us that the only parts of us that actually break during breakups, are parts that can be fixed. (She then tells us how her last breakup led her directly to her husband; they celebrate their 9th wedding anniversary this coming Wednesday).

Bring ‘em back

These were such a breath of fresh air for me, and they still are today, 3 years later. If there are more episodes in the future that would be wonderful. But these older episodes are still just as refreshing as the first listen. Cheers.

Great way to start the day

Coaches MK and Sarah do a great job of providing inspirational, uplifting, content that’s just the right length to pick you up when you need a boost. With mantras with what seems like for every situation imaginable, there is always something to listen to that’s the perfect fit for what I need that day.

These ladies are amazing!

MK and Sarah are such a blessing to have in my ears every morning. Just about the time I’m getting frustrated with kinder-shenanigans in the backseat, here they come to bring encouragement and wisdom.

Sarah is insightful, often timely as her daughter is only a little younger than mine, and she pulls in the best examples when illustrating her thoughts. I have loved getting to know her a little better through this podcast.

MK is an absolute gem. She brings a depth of wisdom that far surpasses her years. And my personal favorite is when she expresses that wisdom in her gorgeous Tennessee accent, rendering it as beautiful and unpretentious as Bela Fleck playing Bach on his banjo, and giving it so much depth and real ness. It brings such joy to my soul, to listen to such wisdom without a veneer of polishes pretense.

Thank you, ladies!!!
