Loving this new series from Ryan!
Loving this new series from Ryan! Ellie runs a successful business but is still loyal to her best friend, and when she calls and is in danger Ellie goes running. Upon arrival, she ends up being rescued by Killian, her older brother’s best friend from high school. While she had a huge crush on him back then, it’s been years since she’s seen him and even though she’s still attracted to him, his caveman tendencies frustrate her to no end. Killian is finally taking control and going after Ellie, especially after the excuse of saving her. As the mystery goes deeper trying to uncover who’s after Ellie and her friend and why, the romance builds between Ellie and Killian, and they get to know each other as adults. I loved the suspenseful aspect of this story (much like the rest of Ryan’s books) and was on the edge of my seat wondering where the book would go. With a solved mystery for the crew and establishing the rest of the characters at the end, I can’t wait to see what happens in the next books and who ends up with who!
