Use to love boost apps

During this Covid pandemic everyone is scared. Went to the Servay supermarket in Sabah month of April the girl at the counter asked "got Boost".. So i topup all of my salary to Boost as i thought that everything can be pay using Boost e-wallet then yesterday i went to the same supermarket and wanted to pay with full item in my trolley all counter said they got problem with Boost as they encounter system offline from Boost and i have no choice to put back one by one all the item from my trolley. I went to KFC and 99 Mart to try using my Boost and it work well.. I think it happen because of the rules Boost has change that the tranfer out option only can take out RM200 max and its not instant but still take few days so they can do the transfer out again. Maybe Boost merchant especially supermarket have encounter problem to transfer out their money and they stop all payment using Boost apps by telling survival lies to every customer who wanted to pay with Boost.. Since everyone love using Boost i think as for the RM200 is okay with the minimal fee of RM2 but only the transfer out if can make it as instant transfer to the verified registerered bank account.

Review and Recommendation

Review: I’ve been using Boost for about a year already. And for the time being, I haven’t encountered any problems. Yet. I usually topup my wallet thru online banking cause it’s more efficient and trusted. But I’ve just added my debit card recently cause I wanted to complete my mission. And I’ve been using Boost anywhere that this payment method is accepted cause I want the cash back. Just a reminder, the cash back isn’t that much, sometimes you’re unlucky you get only 20sen but rather that nothing. I did transfer out my money from wallet to my bank and it worked well. It needs an IC verification (same as BigPay) and I waited for 2 days for the verification process and 2 more days for the transaction process. Basically in 4 days, then my money from wallet got transferred to my bank account.
Recommendation: To Boost, I recommend that you create a prepaid MasterCard that connected to user’s account just like BigPay so that instead of paying online, users get to pay with card thru MasterCard payment too.
Comment: All in all, I’m satisfied. But I really hope that Boost will come up with a MasterCard. And most importantly, I would love to continue using Boost.

Happy customer

I had a recent transaction problem with boost. The cause of the error might be due to poor network connection at the petrol station due to rain (petrol station uses satellite, hence connection problem with rain). Long story short, I spent a good 40 mins at the petrol station, called the boost terminal helpdesk, which turned out to be a separate entity from Boost app, hence, my problem couldn’t get resolved anyhow.
I had to report back directly to Boost, which operated purely on emails and social media.

Nevertheless, I had a good experience with the support team and how my problem was handled. I got my refund without much fuss. Good job to the team for proving that customers’ journey work a long way.
