Favorite podcast
This is my favorite podcast! Wish they would post new episodes again!
I hate weddings, photography and hosting parties
Omg. I am the opposite of your demographic. I don’t host parties, have never hired a photographer, and eye roll weddings so hard that when I got married I eloped in an $11 dress. I heard a recommendation for this podcast on “the mind of madness” podcast and thought I’d give it a quick listen. I immediately was hooked. Host are awesome and stories are hilarious. Second day of listening and I’m already on episode 33. This podcast is just total awesomeness!
Not Worth It
The stories are excellent, but the chatter about their babies and children and personal lives (literally EVERYTHING but weddings) dominates most of the shows. They can’t stay on track. You’re lucky to get 20% of the show with actual wedding stories.
I followed them to the Patreon platform that they are now on exclusively and pay to listen to them. The interface is awful! It doesn’t accurately track what episodes you’ve listen to, and you need to scroll through almost 200 episodes down the list every time you open the app to get to the one you want to listen to. It’s always lacked a little polish but I could forgive that because it was free. It’s just not worth it anymore. You can tell their heart isn't into it.
