Gets two stars simply because I can eventually request refill. Usually takes at least 15 minutes because the requirements for passwords are ridiculous and I can never remember what I set it up for last time. That means I have to set up a new password, which is a very frustrating process. If when the passwords don’t match I could just see what I typed and fix it, that would be a big help. BTW, none of the log on information is saved on your phone, so don’t count on anything filling in automatically. I wish they would go to just sending an email with an automatic log-in link.
Then there’s the list of prescriptions. Every time your doctor sends in a refill, it goes in the list just like a brand new prescription and the one it replaces never gets deleted, so I wind up wasting time trying to find the current scripts. There is no way to contact the app makers to ask questions either.
If I didn’t always seem to need to request refills on Sundays when the pharmacy is closed, I would ditch this entirely.
Helping independent pharmacies compete
Love the concept, it basically seems to do what I need. And I’m so happy my local independent pharmacy has this tool to add some of the convenience of the big corporations. I love my local pharmacy. I get fantastic, caring service from professionals who know my family’s medications and who will advise me directly about important side effects or drug interactions instead of making it my job to read the dense info included. But it feels like an early version of the app. I would like to support the developers with useful feedback without trashing the app in a review. Please allow in app feedback and a feedback channel on the website. Also, better documentation on the website would help. My husband is having trouble creating an account. He entered his correct information but was told it doesn’t match what the pharmacy has on file, which cannot be true. Also I’m trying to add family members. It asks for their Rx number. What is that? How do I discover or obtain one for them? Maybe explain more fully how to do something like that on the website. All you do there is step through the really obvious path as set forth in the app. So, I’d say communication with the developers and ways to get questions answered in more detail would be the first major change to make.
Trash app
It makes you do half the work on your phone’s web browser, which makes you need to authenticate again after already having authenticated in the app. Then, if you are trying to click the “you have a medication to refill” notification, you have to figure out which of the medications on the list it was talking about. Plus, it doesn’t bother to consolidate prescriptions that are the same drug, so when your refills on a med go to zero and the doctor writes another prescription for it, that’s now two entries on the list. My pharmacy used to use an app with their name on it that was amazing, but I guess quality costs too much, so they changed to this one size fits none piece of garbage. I’ve used the message feature in this app and asked a question, days later I just called the pharmacy to ask it. Found out they did supposedly answer me through the app, but I never saw it.
Seriously, if your pharmacy uses this app, you’ll be better off just using your phone to call them with questions and to get a refill. Make them understand that by choosing to use this app that they’ll only get more phone calls when this app fails to work properly.
