Love can make things work
Dax is a professional hockey player for the sidewinders but lately he has been thinking he might be on the wrong profession. He want something else! He’s best friend’s sister, Isla asks him for a big favor. Isla is committed to her profession. Her grandfather keeps setting her up with guys when all she wants, is to be left alone. Dax flies to Isla’s rescue to pretend they have a relationship. Surprise to both of them, they both have had a crush on each other for a while. There is a problem on pursuing a relationship. They live thousands of miles away of each other. Will they be able to make it work? Like always, I got hooked to the story and wouldn’t want to stop reading! A great book to read and you must read all of the series, they are awesome!

Dax and Isla’s story is an amazing friends to lovers story that is filled with chemistry, devotion and love. When Isla is in need of a cloak and dagger romance to keep her grandfather from his match making games, she employs her close friend and the man in her heart to rescue her. Their friendship really heats up and together they find their HEA... you are gonna have to read this story to see how they get there.
I loved seeing the Sidewinders and the Protectors in one story. GREAT CROSSOVER!

Great read
Dax was a fun read- it combined folks from both the Sidewinders and the Royal Protectors series. I have not read any of the Royal Protectors series but am looking forward to catching up on those books.
Dax & Isla were total opposites in many ways but they became a couple under of an entertaining circumstance. Once together they realized they both had had feelings for the other for a while. The rest of their love story will bring all the happy feels.
