Lovely story
I enjoyed reading Princess Julianna’s story after meeting her in The Reluctant Princess, but I kept wondering where the backbone she displayed in that book was in this one. I wanted her to be bolder than she was and not let her father walk on all over her. But I guess that’s why I’m not a princess!
Alejandro caught my attention and admiration right away. As the “spare” in his royal family, he’s virtually ignored by his own father, while the responsibility for the monarchy falls on his humorless brother Enrique.

Not so Perfect Princess!!
This was a sweet, fun story of a princess torn between duty and love. I was rooting for Prince Alejandro throughout the whole story and was VERY happy when him and Jules realized love is more important than any kind of duty you think you have to do. I loved that Jules finally found her voice and finally stopped letting the men in her life control her. I also loved that she could command that sailboat as good as any man. Great story!!
