Publisher Description
USA Today Best Selling Author, Willow Winters, brings you an all-consuming, sizzling romance featuring an epic, anti-hero you won't soon forget.
Some love stories are a slow burn. Others are quick to ignite, scorching and branding your very soul before you’ve taken that first breath. You’re never given a chance to run from it.
That’s how I’d describe what happened to us.
Everything around me blurred and all that existed were his lips, his touch…
The chase and the heat between us became addictive.
Our nights together were a distraction; one we craved to the point of letting the world crumble around us.
We should have paid attention; we should have known that it would come to this.
We both knew it couldn’t last, but that didn’t change what we desired most.
All we wanted was each other…

See AllNeed More Marcus!!
I actually listened to the Audible version and this story has a great start.
We have Delilah a tough as nails lawyer, Cody is a FBI agent and the mysterious Marcus.
This book is more than romance. I started this book knowing that I was going to be drawn to the bad boy, but little did I know that I was going to grow to like Agent Walsh. Delilah tried to be strong and stand tall against her fear, but sometimes you just need someone to hold on to.
This book totally had me hooked from the blue-eyed man that left her hurrying away from him in the grocery store.
Next: But I Need You and I can’t wait to see what happens with Delilah, Cody and Marcus next.
Love Willow’s Books
But this one left me a bit empty. I’m going to try to finish the series but as much as I look forward to the hero and heroine getting together, this first book was too much background or rather too much suspense fluff. There was little to no romance and that saddened me. I look forward to the building of the relationship and to see where it goes. I guess I like my romance with some suspense not suspense with a little romance. I’m struggling to complete. So far I barely can describe the characters or their characteristics. By the end of book one I should be far more vested into this story and I’m not. That disappoints me. Usually I’m done with a Willow book in a few days. I’m already on week 3 and I barely finished the first book without giving up. Question is do I purchase the next two and finish the series? If you want my answer it’s I don’t know yet. And that’s why I couldn’t give this book 5 stars.
Waste of time!
I read the whole thing.... it is so slow and boring...so disappointing !
