In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was about 6 years old, my dad taught me to play drums on an upside-down plastic trash can in our garage. In that same garage I learned to record my friends and I honed my production skilled. In there, my musical career was born. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, 22, A Million Flume, Hi This Is Flume (Mixtape) Verzache, My Head Is a Moshpit '22, A Million' is my all-time favorite: lush soundscapes, haunting melodies, human emotions. 'Hi This Is Flume' changed my sound completely and sent me down a rabbit hole of experimental music. 'My Head Is a Moshpit' is a pop masterpiece. I'd found success with 'Cul de Sac' but soon moved away from that style. He thought I should revisit it, and Afterglow was the result. We got to enjoy its release together shortly before he passed away.
