Music for Kiddos makes me a better teacher!

I am so happy that I found Stephanie & Music for Kiddos! I love (and share) her passion and commitment to honoring children and meeting them where they are, and I especially love her energy. She manages to keep her songs and activities entertaining and engaging, while keeping things safe and calm. I tend to go big sometimes, but I have adopted some of Stephanie’s strategies and they bring a beautiful balance to my classes. I look forward to every podcast because she gives a lot of “how to” tips, but never loses sight of the WHY. She makes me feel proud to be an early childhood educator.

I recently found the Music for Kiddos podcast and I look forward to it every week. I teach a preschool music class a couple times a week and I thought Stephanie’s tips were so helpful. She has the perfect “podcast voice” (which is such a make it or break it thing for me haha) and just makes you feel relaxed & calm as you listen. Even when the episodes are more geared toward Music Therapists, I find the information extremely beneficial for myself. I am loving all that I learn here, thank you!!
Practical & Encouraging

Wonderful podcast full of practical encouragement for anyone who works with children and music! Stephanie’s songs and lesson plans are also wonderful. If you don’t already subscribe to her free “Song of the Month” emails, I highly recommend them. Her songs have such a special role in my elementary music classroom and are always a hit with my students!

I am a kindergarten teacher and mama of 3 girls. I have been enjoying Stephanie’s “Move it, Move It” album for both my toddler and kindergarteners for a couple of years now. I am so thrilled to have this podcast as a resource too! The topics covered are engaging, well thought out, and inspiring. As I listen, I get excited to implement or learn more about what was shared on the podcast. I look forward to each episode and appreciate Stephanie’s generosity in sharing so many free resources.

This podcast is a must-listen for anyone interacting with kids on a regular basis! Stephanie presents ideas, songs, and concepts in such a clear, engaging, and helpful way. I’ve been craving intervention ideas from other providers to help me in my music therapy practice since I began working in 2017, and this podcast does that and so much more! This podcast is teaching me more about music and kids, and is sparking my creativity!!
