If you've read Don Miguel Ruiz’s classic book, “The Four Agreements. perhaps you remember this as the second agreement, if not let me remind you with this excerpt: "Whatever happens around you, don’t take it personally. Nothing other people do is because of you. It is because of themselves. All people live in their own dream, in their own minds; they are in a completely different world from the one we live in. When we take something personally, we make the assumption that they know what is in our world, and we try to impose our world on their world." When you stop taking things personally, you can literally stop wars (the ones that happen in your mind and in your life when you see everything as personal to you!) It's a pretty amazing shift!     Chronic Pain Sucks!

    In today’s episode, I share my story of being in chronic pain for over 20 years and how it slowly took over my life no matter how many practitioners, teachers, healers, and doctors I tried or how much money I spent on things like cold packs, heating pads, new mattresses, supplements, classes, ointments, and more. For me, it got so bad that I believed the next logical step was to start using a wheelchair! It was the only thing left I could think of to deal with debilitating sciatica which made walking and standing extremely painful. Somehow when I was at the end of all hope, I found the work of Dr. John Sarno. That was the beginning of the end of my chronic pain and I know it can work the same way for you. You'll hear how finding Dr. Sarno's work completely changed my life and what I did following that to help me become completely pain-free, which was a true miracle.
