Are you looking for love, approval, & appreciation? Encore Episdoe

Are you looking for love, approval, & appreciation? Encore Episdoe

Are you consumed by the need for love, approval, and appreciation?

Has it ever occurred to you that you might not need any of those three things?

Newsflash! Your life can change for the better when you stop looking for things you don't really need! And, guess what else, the only person you need to get these things from is YOU!

Yes, it's true... the search for love, approval, and appreciation is a fast track to an unhappy life and reminds me of what author Byron Katie says: "If I had a prayer, it... If I had a prayer, it would be this: "God, spare me from the desire for love, approval, or appreciation. Amen."

When you stop searching, you can find... yourself! Check out today's episode to learn more!

It's time to cut yourself some slack! Encore Episode

It's time to cut yourself some slack! Encore Episode

    Are you hard on yourself?

Do you constantly push yourself to be better, do better, know better?

Do you wish you could accomplish more than you get done in a day?

    Are you a taskmaster?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then my advice for you today is to PLEASE cut yourself some slack!

Yes, it's time to ease up on yourself and go easy on yourself. Life is not a race to the grave, it's meant to be enjoyed, explored, and filled with ease. Really!

Plus cutting yourself some slack is a great first step to honoring yourself, your rhythms, your pace, your needs, and your desires... have you ever considered that?

Hopefully, today's episode will help you slow down, chill out, and give yourself the grace you deserve in your life!

25 Ways to Say an Honest No Encore Episode

25 Ways to Say an Honest No Encore Episode

Saying NO is hard for people. You get so caught up worrying about hurting someone’s feelings or anticipating their reactions, that you compromise yourself over and over again.

How many times have you gone along with something that was not a YES for you just to keep the peace or keep a friend or family member happy?

News flash! You’re not really keeping the peace (and the peace I’m referring to is your own) and I’d also say you’re also being a dishonest friend and/or family member.

Saying an honest no (or yes) ultimately means being TRUE TO YOU without worrying about what the other person may think or how they might respond. It’s about saying what’s true for you at any given moment.

Be sure to check out the freebies on my website, including a downloadable copy of the blog post which inspired today's episode!

What happens when you stop taking things personally? Encore Episode

What happens when you stop taking things personally? Encore Episode

Have you ever considered how your life could change if you stopped taking things personally?
Have ever even considered not taking things personally?
If you've read Don Miguel Ruiz’s classic book, “The Four Agreements. perhaps you remember this as the second agreement, if not let me remind you with this excerpt:
"Whatever happens around you, don’t take it personally. Nothing other people do is because of you. It is because of themselves. All people live in their own dream, in their own minds; they are in a completely different world from the one we live in. When we take something personally, we make the assumption that they know what is in our world, and we try to impose our world on their world."
When you stop taking things personally, you can literally stop wars (the ones that happen in your mind and in your life when you see everything as personal to you!) It's a pretty amazing shift!
Tune in to find out more!
