Episode with Gina Yashere was phenomenal!!!
The conversation between Dulce and Gina was one of the best cross-diaspora conversations I’ve ever heard. So valuable. So insightful. So honest. Keep up the magic, Dulce!
It’s a crying shame that this show is ending. You’ve tapped into an important and rare historical archive: Black people discussing their experience of watching Black people on tv. In Africa and the Caribbean this type of discussion is normal. But in the US Black people are a fragmented minority. White people are so completely surrounded by other white people they no longer notice that they talk to their white friends about white actors they saw on white tv shows.
@Dulce please call Netflix or Radiotopia to keep the blood pumping. 🙏🏾
