The Modern Post is an indie rock praise & worship band led by former Thrice frontman Dustin Kensrue. Formed in 2012 at the Mars Hill Church in Orange County, California, the band also includes brothers Phil and Lee Neujahr on bass and drums, along with synth player Jonny Sandu. They work in a bass-heavy, melodic indie pop style that relies on shimmering synths and treated guitars. The band released their debut EP, Grace Alone, in 2012 through the Mars Hill label. ~ Timothy Monger
