Ashley’s skeptical and realistic attitude and Jason’s optimistic and open-minded attitude creates the perfect chemistry. Also, Doctor Strange is always a treat when he shows up. Most of my list of comics to read consists of Geek History Lesson recommended reading. Please do a lesson on the modern age of Batman and Superman. Also, Edna Mode is always right; capes are impractical. Also, never criticize The Batman 2022; that movie only has one bad scene. I am a dude, and the one bad scene is where Joker talks to Riddler in Arkham Asylum.

This show has been a lifesaver.. I am a “mail escort” (mailman) and I am in my truck and walking 6hrs a day.. and I listen to you while I’m out.. I started from ep.1 and now I’ve caught up completely in just a few months.. currently on my 2nd pass.. I also come home and share all the info I’ve learned with my son who is as into comics as I am.. he’s currently reading the “the walking dead” and “Bleach” manga.. There are a few ideas tho.. SQUIRREL GIRL.. list of Weapon X characters.. And the impact of gender/race changes ie. Miles morales, Robbie Reyes, Riri Williams etc.. (it was shown negatively initially but has produced some of my favorite characters)..

I like how much research and heart they both put into this podcast but good lord, Jason’s frustrating. Incredibly obnoxious with character voices that go on wayy too long and constantttttly interrupting or cutting Ashley off. I wasn’t going to leave a 3 star review but I’ve been trying to go through all the episodes and it’s just consistent.

Always loved this show since the beginning, but Texmen 2 was the greatest thing I have ever listened to. Evor. So how do we get more Omar Najam?!? Don’t tell anyone…. but I love that man. P.S. Antarctica is not real.
