In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember finding a lot of instrumental hip-hop on youtube back when I was 12; tracks that sounded like they belonged on Adult Swim, by the likes of Negrosaki, Xaltus, Asis Galvin, Nujabes, and so many more. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Taka-Tan Beam” This song represents the starting of a new phase in my life. I felt as though the track and the project it comes from marked a shift in my life where I truly started to put myself first and find my confidence, sonically and personally. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing this beat show called Controllerise in Atlanta a few years back! I was so blessed to have taken a trip with my friends (Nothing_Neue, UnUsual, Sw1ngLow) down to ATL and be able to play alongside those guys in a completely different city. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd love to play some shows internationally at some point! I've always dreamed and envisioned playing in places like Japan, Nigeria, Ghana, Singapore, and so many more spots. That's the ultimate goal, to just travel and connect off this music.
