All the feels. Loved it!
Pieces of Us by Claudia Burgoa is the first book in the Second Chance Sinners duet and it is full of all the feels! Ethan and Zeke’s story captivated me from the start. We meet Ethan and Zeke when they were young and we get to experience their connection from the start. The chemistry they share is undeniable, but life is never easy and choices are difficult and takes them on separate paths. My heart broke for them. Their journey is not an easy one. And as this is book one in the duet, it will leave you hanging, but I devoured every minute of it. I cannot wait to get my hands on the second book and see what happens next!

Angsty and slightly damaged

This book ends on a cliffhanger and is part of a duet (which is appropriate as they are musicians).
Spanning over 15 years, we are introduced to Zeke and Ethan and their foster family that leads them to forming the group, Sinners of Seattle.
I found their pieces to be messy, super angsty, and brittle. Interwoven as family, lovers and band mates.
Recommend.
Amazing beginning!!
I feel like I have been waiting for this book for forever but that’s probably because the last year has been like 10 rolled into one....
The first part of this duet is absolutely heartbreaking. There is a lot of angst and that cliffhanger makes me wish I could fast forward time so the conclusion would already be in my hands.
There’s not a lot that I could say that wouldn’t give too much away but if you’ve read Hannah’s (Almost Perfect) or Tucker’s (Us After You) stories, there’s a lot about the Sinners of Seattle that you already know.
Part one of this duet is phenomenal and I will be impatiently awaiting the conclusion.
